I'm thinking about trying to get into a cosmetology school for a barbering or dual license, would you say it's worth pursuing if I'm not sure what direction I really want to take in life?

I go to a pretty awesome barber and I got a good relationship with the dude, he tells me it's a great option as far as getting your foot into something to give yourself a better chance to support yourself or achieve higher goals later on.
