I'm a tall and skinny guy, and I can't really pull off low shoes. It's partly because finding size 13-14 skate shoes is hard as fuck for me, and the same goes for long pants. Also, I think that high tops look nice on me when I wear pants because they push up the ends of my pants, giving the illusion that they're longer than they actually are.
About a week ago, I picked up these shoes at Boat House for less than $100 (the price on the official Supra website).

They're not "white", but they are a nice color that look great with some chinos.
