That's really not a fair thing to call a Rolex. Like it or not Rolex movements as mechanical movements made in house are among the best in the world for mass produced watches. Probably the best of any movement with that production volume. They meet and exceed all technical expectations and claims which are made about them.

Yes they are "daddy's first I made it watch" but in that vein the are more like a 911 porshe than anything else. They are onlike a useless bit of fashion like a car seat cover
