prep is more of a life style than a fashion really, though there is a "look" that defines it.
Preppy definitely looks more professional and chicks dig it alot more than most other styles.

but like i said its more of a life style.

if you want to dress preppy, shop at places like VV, kjp, brooks brothers, Ralph lauren, and various other preppy shops.
they typically wear
blazers
bean boots
pastels
collared shirts
lots of layering
CORRECTLY FITTED SHIT
and oxford shoes or derby shoes(that general style)

/fa/ doesnt tend to like preppy though because most of the time, when you see someone "ATTEMPTING" to dress preppy its some faggy college frat boy who completley fucks it up. then theres also dadcore.
