I was actually thinking about trying to get ahold of a shorter tunic with short sleeves, layering it over a white shirt and then maybe getting more modern boots or later era boots that still fit the style. Either that or trying to go with something like this.

I wish America had more stuff like that. The only thing that really comes to mind is maybe a ren faire, which is basically dress up/cosplay 99% of the time. The only other area I can think of that does something similar is the AFA, but they might as well be a larp too.
