I ordered a pair of his sneakers a while back and returned it. They were beautiful but ridiculously uncomfortable.
Leather was good quality albeit a bit on the thin side. Very stiff.
I don't mind putting up with that sort of stiffness and discomfort with derbies but not sneakers.
Favorite pair of shoes I own are some BBS black bambas. I also like my Marsell derbies for dressier occasions. They go very well with my Yohji hakamas.
