Nobody notices watches except other watch people. Despite being the most recognizable brand to normies I’ve had one person notice my sub so far in my entire year of owning it and they had a GMT.

This but I’ll add I was never into modern Rolex. The vintage pieces are what attracted me but finding a good matte dial sub with original dial and hands was difficult. Not to mention that 5512 and Red 1680 prices skyrocketed. This led me to take another look at modern Rolex since what I wanted was an everyday watch that I could actually take on dives. Not something I’d have to baby like a red 1680. After seeing and holding the modern sub up close I decided to go for it. No ragrets. The newer bracelet is awesome and the latest 3135 movements are proven tanks.

It was unworn as advertised. I think it is super underrated because of its size which makes it super comfy on the wrist. I’ll have to add a Hemipode or Megapode in the future.
