Yeah some punk kids on the curb who've researched on the subject on Wikipedia the day before are probably gonna give you the stink-eye, but mostly people don't give a fuck. It has become a punk/fashion-thing, I even saw coloured laces sold at a Martens-store in NYC. So you're good and white laces do look fucking rad when laced tightly. Unless you're also wearing combat trousers and a bomber covered in National Front/14/88/Totenkopf-badges.
