Man, nothing gets through to you. Maybe take a break from posting and actually try and learn about fashion beyond what's simply "cool".

I don't even like Rick Owens that much, I don't own anything from any of his lines.
But that's a good example really. It'd be like if everyone suddenly started raving about John Cage and his work started being talked about by everyone, but just because people liked "silence" or "Weird sounds", not appreciating any of the concepts behind Cage's work that are as important as the work themselves. That's almost what people are doing with Rick. Rick as a designer, is a lot more conceptual than a lot of designers I like, like Yosuke Aizawa or Daiki Suzuki, there is more to his work than just how "cool" the clothes are. But so many people seem to be buying Rick because it's the cool thing to do, because Pusha T and A$AP wear it. But does even Pusha T wear Rick Owens because he appreciates the clothes and the work and imagination that goes into them? I doubt it. It's just all sorts buying into the media frenzy that's accompanied Rick's work since around 2009.

If you're really interested in Rick, don't just buy a few basics and a pair of ramones that everyone else has passed on, get familiar with his work, his approach to clothing. Here's a list of his collections, most of the post-2005 or so collections are readily available online, and you can find much of the other material with some digging.
