Looks better set than the previous.

High waisted pants really sets the look for A2's. The waist knit is usually underneath the doubled over stomach/pocket area.

Leather jackets as we know them today were truly born out of the 30's-50's.
WW2 meant that many men returning home had their Flight Jacket, tanker jacket, Bomber Jacket, etc and they continued to wear it after the war, all of these jackets were brown.
The 50's saw black leather jackets become a rebel symbol. So you have this dichotomy between the Veterans/Gentlemen wearing their military jackets and the Kids wearing their rebel gear.
