I need to take a /fa/ picture of myself

how can I go about doing it? not sure how to pose, what angle I should use, etc.

not a selfie like holding the camera, I'd either use a tripod or like, get somebody to do it with me

you guys keep saying that a HY is out or whatever but nobody ever mentions an alternative

I'm not doing a manbun, and those are played out anyway. I was planning on just getting buzzed sides, keeping the top long and wearing it down on my face. Is that really that played out? I hate having long sides and back
