I'm thinking about putting some dye on my all white geo's. I want something like pic related. How can I do this without completely ruining my shoes?

I really like the concept of the drip sneakers

It's the rubber sole of the shoe but in its rawest possible form, literally just the bottom of the shoe dipped in molten rubber. If you look at some of them you can definitely see a vague outline similar to that of a Converse toe-cap sole, just continuous and non-uniform.

they're really cool shoes but your shoe collection won't be very unique

up your budget and get some variation of these instead :)

Workwear can be menswear if it fits traditionally and is worn when situationally appropriate. Workwear pieces have often featured in streetwear (especially Japanese streetwear). Some pieces are more decidedly on one side or the other; the wolverine 1k mile has a much harder time passing as streetwear than the red wing 875 does.

Some people opt for workwear almost completely. Such people tend to sport scraggly beards and are inspired by haggard-looking fishermen, patriotism, "indie music", a serious denim fetish, or socialism. The reasons vary from one person to the next.

Then there's the world of designers like Ann Demeulemeester, Carol Christian Poell, Sruli Recht, Yohji Yamamoto, and Rick Owens. Sometimes called "avant-garde", sometimes called "gothninja", sometimes called any number of other things, this is a style that often gets associated with Stylezeitgeist and often in its admirers satisfies an itch for unconventional tailoring, high-grade materials and abstract design ideas. It very frequently involves grayscale. Unless you have a SERIOUS interest in "aesthetics", this is probably not for you.

With their color scheme and seamless profile, these shoes fit naturally into the look.
