if it's skinny jeans, i like to wear them with old burgundy loafers and a green chequer shirt (ill get dressed and take pic in a bit)

im also a fan of how black plays with earthy brown/olive, think barbour jacket

if i go with black shoes its usually worn and faded black canvas shoes with crisp black denim, or shiny black leather with fading black jeans

now that i think of it, there is another power combo i go back to - black gumsole shoes, black skinny jeans or pants and belt in cognac leather. Add a wide black corduroy shirt tucked in and green scarf under said shirt. use an old cahsmere sweater under the shirt as you are having an afternoon drink on an outside terrace when the weather turns autumny
