I own around ten Hawaiian shirts, they are comfy as fuck. Stick to cotton and silk ones though, synthetics might feel light but don't breath at all, so they're too hot in the summer and too cold in the winter. Pair it with a wife beater if you want, but your guidance for using one should be scarface or magnum PI; anything that doesn't make you look like a drug dealer or a cop from Miami in the 80s is hipster territory
