A lot of people on this board are always asking whether something is /fa/ or not, and to be honest, it doesn't really matter, as long as YOU like the look of it and YOU approve it then buy it. Everyone on this board has got different opinions so nothing is going to be factually '/fa/'.

Anyway, Stans are good shoes, and work well with lots of fits, although I wouldn't call them an alternative to Common Projects. They're a bit more bulkier and a lot busier (although they're still pretty simple). CPs are also a lot higher quality, and a lot more sleek then Smiths.

In my opinion, the best alternatives to CPs for a cheap price are Kent Wangs (about $95). They're a lot closer in appearance to CPs than the Smiths and are pretty good quality. Not god tier or anything, but good.

CPs are definitely the best option out of everything in this style in the market but if you can't afford them then I would go with Kent Wangs. They offer a quite similar look (more than the Smiths) with a good quality build for a good price. Smiths are good shoes but I wouldn't consider them as alternatives to CPs, although if you do get them get the ones without all the green stuff, they're more comparable.

Do you guys know of any really expensive white shoes like kent wangs? I need a quality white shoe, any brands you guys might reccomend?
