Why do people lack any sense of self awareness? You don't have to constantly berate yourself, but you should realize that you're never as good as you really think you are. It's even worse when people flaunt what they don't really have. He's a nice guy though, but sometimes he doesn't realize how little he's impressing people compared to how much he's embarassing himself.
