Waht propagates this kind of thinking is rape culture, plain and simple.

If the girl was told beforehand that sexual activity was to be anticipated during the shoot and she had second thoughts afterwards, ok, maybe it's not accurate to classify it as assault.


This girl was young and helpless, what she had undergone traumatized her. It's almost unconscionable to pass off such an invasion of human rights as "par for the course". In what possible context could the promotion of predatory behavior be excusable? Girls like her used like pieces of meat while being told that they're "strong" for not speaking up against their abusers are not the winners here. It's not as simple as let some ugly old man have sex with you and boom you've got the job, no repercussions at all. What dignity is there for the people trying to make it in these casting-couch industries? It's shitty sexism and ignorance that makes victims feel guilty.
