I thought this fall would be the season that i get some good use out of my sportjackets, blazers, and shetlands. But im just not feeling it. Instead im taking out the rugbies, sweatshirts, and overshirts.

I firmly believe in the style i like to dress in, but its not the only style i can appreciate. I can appreciate anybody that dresses with intent and reason. Intent as in thinking about what they want to communicate with their clothing (which seems simple but most people don't even think that deeply), and reason as in thinking about how the pieces in their outfit complement eachother (colors, formality, ruggedness, texture, cultural association, etc.) So i try to keep a relatively open mind but dont like overly garish concepts or purposefully discordant pieces.
Same thing with architecture really, im not a strict traditionalist as long as there is an underlying respect for time-tested methods.
