Wow, a bit of a collectors fee, it seems, but i've seen worse. Congrats on the find. Not too bad for the regular ones, had expected a higher price. Some day i will get bombarded by a comfy thread on /v/ and download the game.

Fusee movements were already a thing but got out of fashion. I guess that there is not much you can do, besides use it for power transfer from the mainspring. The chain would have to be very precise to be used for the hand movement. It's cheaper to make gears. Also chain stretch could become a problem.

But look it up yourself, maybe you find out the real reason for fusee movement dissapearance. (there are very few, very expensive chain watches, produced in the past 5 years).
