Please help from /fit/

I'm not a hair person. Thinking about shaving it all off and re-growing it. I had a comb-over and now it's growing out weird because one side is shorter than the other I think I need to "reset".

I would like to grow it out and see what I look like but should I just shave this bitch first and start growing it out fresh? Any other short hair cuts you guys could recommend? Any long hair styles you think could work?
