Issues I see:
- Case is original, but has been badly refinished at some point (this is why the caseback looks fucked)
- Crown is a replacement, but the Rolex logo being on the crown is not a red-flag at all, Tudors from this period occasionally had Rolex crowns or Tudor shield crowns.
- Dial has been pretty badly refinished, but is most likely genuine.

I'd crack the caseback to be safe, I know a lot of these vintage Tudors have had their movements replaced or frankenised with off the shelf 2824's over the years as a cost saving measure. It's probably still a nice enough watch, but if you're going for a 100% original example, this ain't it.

Here's an old pic of my 1960's Tudor with a horrendous redial that I bought back before I knew any better when I first got into watches like 15 years ago. It's a little shitter, but I still like it anyway.

Old ass picture of my Tudor to bump the thread.

Whether you spend 50 or 300, lizard straps always look kinda cheap and nasty if they have a shiny finish, it kinda just comes with the territory. It's an aesthetic choice and not a matter of the strap being cheap or poorly made. I expected it to be complete dogshit, but it's actually pretty nice quality in all honesty lol.

I'm just happy to finally have found a genuine teju strap for so little money after literally years of keeping my eyes peeled for one.

Me neither usually, but I think the fact that my watch dial is also a shiny black really ties it together for some reason. It's definitely not everyones taste, though. Shiny straps are super tacky, but I think it's pretty period appropriate for the watch and I dig it.

Holy based, how do you like it? It's a Cronos right? I've considered buying a San Martin myself in the past but I just struggle to pull the trigger on Changs finest timepieces. The quality looks superb for the money, though.

Based Tudor Chad, nice watch Anon. What year is it? I wish Tudor would do more shit like this these days.
>>17227226
Of course it is, it's a 70's watch.

My friend just bought the PCB-looking version of this and it looks fucking nice but I know it'd be way too big for my wrist. G-Shocks are always cool.
