You can drink anything and be effay doing it, depending on the context, example :
>you can be /fa/ drinking your can of cheap beer in the street
>you can be /fa/ drinking spirits at home
>you can be /fa/ drinking good beer in bars
>you can be /fa/ drinking champagne at events
>you can be /fa/ drinking wine with some friends
But I'm pretty sure someone really effay could drink champagne by the bottle in the street and get away with it.
On the other hand, being too drunk when it's not appropriate isn't effay. Sometimes it's safer to stay 2 beers sober
