Problem is, if you don't act in a way that fits, then everyone is going to see how much of a phony you are.
I'm 100% convinced that the people regularly posting these threads are also the ones asking about "fashy haircuts" and look like pic.
No one is going to believe you got into a swordfight nowadays, expecially if you're a skinnyfat with pale skin from spending too much time at the computer, or just fat. No one is going to believe that the guy in his early 20s in our days has "battle scars" and if he does, it's from getting mugged which is not exactly grand and glorious.
And let's also disregard the wealth of studies on facial appearance concluding that things like scars are overwhelmingly seen as making someone less trustworthy, less agreeable, more prone to lie among other things.
