In general, you should dress for the situation, not 'your age'. Showing up to a nice restaurant in full Acronym is inappropriate as is going running in a three-piece suit. It's hilarious to me that in the space of a little over 10 years, /fa/ has gone from dadcore to gothninja and back to dadcore, but expecting everyone else to partake in dadcore as well.

I think alot of people get into streetwear because it's an easy 'subculture' to be involved in; it requires little effort to participate aside from throwing money at clothing. I much prefer reuse-shop-streetwear.
