Here are some truth about JLC. Prepare to seethe, cause you're not gonna like this.
>the modern oversized Reverso look terrible on the wrist 99% of the time because of the elongated shape and plank-like form factor. The only Reverso that look good (even on large wrists) are the smaller ones but JLC, being run by tasteless retards, discontinued these.
>the Memovox has one the most useful complications ever made, but JLC has never been able to make a good looking one
>watchnerds love to pretend JLC is their favorite brand because "muh watchmaker's watchmakers, muh understated luxury", but when they look into they realize they don't actually like a single model
>the Polaris line is an absolute mess
>the recent hiring of celebrities as brand ambassadors is weird and embarrassing, everybody knows Lenny Kravitz would never wear a Reverso if he wasn't paid for it

Jeremy is the only credible fragrance reviewer. And that includes old hats like L*ca T*rin. The entire perfume industry is nothing but frauds defrauding frauds and fraudulently being called out by other frauds. But Jeremy Fragrance stands alone as an honest man in a den of vipers.

Asking Luca Turin, a biophysicist, if he likes a perfume is like asking Neil DeGrasse Tyson if he likes the movie Dune. He's a highly educated man, but his degree isn't even remotely related to the subject at hand. He's a quippy asshole and that is entertaining, but facts are facts. His opinion is no more relevant than someone like Jeremy's.

In fact, he's a lot less fair than Jeremy. All Turin does is do a little spritz and jot down his immediate thoughts, which, more often than not, align with his pre-existing opinion of the house it came from. For all of his pomp and bloviating, there's no question in my mind that he wouldn't recognize 99.999% of fragrances he's reviewed over the years if he encountered them in public. Conversely, Jeremy has sniffed the neck of almost every 14 year old boy in Miami and correctly identified their fragrance with a shockingly high success rate. He clearly spends a lot of time with this shit. Plus he doesn't limit the reviews to his own subjective opinion. Sometimes he asks dumb bimbos to share their subjective opinions. Honestly, Jeremy Fragrance is, without a hint of irony, a more credible authority on fragrance evaluation than Luca Turin.

Plus Turin gave Secretions Magnifique a perfect score, which is something he almost never does. I just don't trust the man very much.
