You overthink the value people place on nice watches. I'll spend $10k+ on a rifle setup for precision shooting but I'll be damned if I chuck anywhere near that much at a watch. Different folks, different priorities.

Certainly looks better in person than in store photos. I've always liked flieger style watches, this checks that box along with some modern soul. Really a fun watch to wear. I'm glad I went with the calfskin strap, feel like it's fitting for an aviator, at least in that style.
