>No offense
>But you're pathetic

Right. Yes, I'm 32.
32 and self employed and a homeowner in NYC.
And I wear sneakers, and I have an xbox and an old NES and an Atari in the other room, and I have a plastic robot on my shelf. I also have some comic books.

You see, the thing I like best about being an adult is the freedom to live how I want, dress how i want, and not have to answer to anybody. That last one is especially important, and it's why I insist on self-employment.

In my book, success means doing whatever the hell you want and still making money.

'Acting your age' is something you do when you have to, because you have no other options. When there's a B&E in one of our buildings or there's a toilet emptying into someone's living room at 4 am because the asshole upstairs decided to unclog his potty with Drano, that's when I act my age. When I pay for a vacation or a dinner in cash, I act my age. When I do my accounting and pay my taxes, I act my age. Other than that, fuck it, you know? Let's have fun!

>We don't want to help you, we want you to die.

That's great, you want us to die. Well, here's what's going to happen. We're going to die slowly, in hospital, with tubes running out of our necks while we piss in a bucket.
regardless of the fact that you seem to think we deserve to be tortured for having an indulgence, I want to remind you that our slow and painful death will be a drain on YOUR resources, YOUR medicare funding, YOUR workforce, YOUR family and friends, YOUR ambulance response time and YOUR tax dollar.

Why not just give the people a way out?

You pretty much hit the nail on the head, but what happens to your rule when a single garment means different things to multiple communities? If I'm clearly not a biker, not a punk, but I'm wearing a leather, does that make more or less a leather daddy by process of elimination? Or can one garment reach enough audiences at once to render the whole exercise pointless? Maybe a garment becomes part of the greater cultural fabric after a time? Personally, I believe that no one group can truly lay claim to a style outside of any place but the minds of a few.
Perhaps, there are no walls, and the only thing you really need to know is whether or not it looks good on YOU.
