i tend to wear a sent that compliments it if i can, but id say aftershave overpowers any other colonges i pop on, so i just deodroant and body spray after shaving, mostly only for work. I really like using scented shaving creams too hen i can find them, the best seems to be 'Taylor of Old Bond Street.'
