The biggest hurdle for me is selling used boots, not buying.

I put my Vibergs up on ebay a week ago and still nothing, even put them at much lower price than others.
But my Vibergs are the most expensive shoe I want to get rid of, and I'll have to pay out the ass on shipping fees.
On my other shoes it's probably not even worth to sell them and ship them. Probably just put them in a box and forget about them.

On the subject of split toes: I own a pair of TLB split toes for about 18 months now (and another currently on the way)
Anyway so I've been wearing them to work maybe once a week for the past year and a half, no issues.
Until this week when I did a bit of a cleanup and polish and wore them again and some guy in the office who is in his 60's and Italian asked me "do you know what your shoes are called?" and I had to pretend to be clueless and said no, then he said they're called Norwegian and he can always tell everything about a guy by just looking at his shoes.
I don't know what he meant by that.

I did not mention to him that he has been wearing some glued tassel loafers every single day since July.

Guys, I wore my Indys out with friends one night and nobody said a thing so I thought fine, no one will ask how much they cost
But last night I went to a birthday party and took them off at the entrance and for some reason people became obsessed with them and started asking me all sorts of questions

DHL still hasn't shipped my Indys, at this point I doubt I will receive them tomorrow

That means they're coming in 2023 which means everyone will be back in the office which means I will have a lot of people asking "what's in the box" and "what's the brand" and "how much do they cost"

When I got my Vibergs I was out of office so I told them to put the box under my desk and the box literally had the description and price on the box "boots 680€"
thankfully nobody noticed

I don't get where the price comes from, $2500 for a pair of boots from a maker that is inexperienced with using shell sounds absurd.
Bonafe charges like 1500€ for boots and he is known to be both an expert in using shell and also for getting access to the best shell Horween has available.

$2500 is already beyond made to measure prices for some of the best shoemakers in the world (e.g. Meccariello) and starting to approach bespoke pricing.

My mom read a clickbait article about the "6 best shoemakers in the world" and she is currently going through all my shoes and boots, examining them one by one and asking me which brand made which one, where are they from and other questions

I wore my TLB NSTs again today, it's such a good fit that it makes me sad that TLB is no longer replying to my emails.
