Sad. Silk shirts are objectively sleazier than Hawaiian shirts, because, while I can totally picture a non sleazy person wearing a Hawaiian shirt (tourists,and "quirky" types who wear it to look silly, come to mind) But you will never see a guy in a silk shirt who isn't one sleazy motherfucker. They're probably ignored on these threads because
A: They're not as ubiquitous, you can't just run down to Wal Mart and buy a silk shirt, but you can go there to get a hawaiian shirt
B: Most people here lack the necessary confidence to pull one off.
