hey, 'serious' topic I guess

Obviously a lot of us are here for a number of reasons, some of us are interested in fashion to attract girls, others because we want a controllable vector to express ourselves, and others because we enjoy what we wear.

I think it's great.

Personally, I enjoy the clothes I wear and get a huge kick off finally getting the look I aimed for.
However, at times I feel like I repell people because of how we/I dress.

I.E.: Some people think certain styles are weird, don't understand what they represent, or very simply, find well dressed people intimidating.

I am personally at a point currently where I don't care what people think, I dress for myself and if someone objects/thinks I look unusual/considers my interest a waste of money, that's their issue.

How do you get over the feeling though that you're instantly, before they've even spoken to you, either intimidating people or just giving off a 'weird' vibe?
