I didn't get a response in the last thread.

Is the beard totally necessary in this look? I can't grow one, but am digging the hair. Also what products/styling techniques to use to get this look?

So I've got thick, slightly wavy hair, and I think this may be my new hair goal. Unfortunately, I can't grow a beard for shit. Would not having a beard possibly hurt the overall look even if I have a pretty good jawline?

Also, what styling technique (if any) can I use to get those wispy edges and what product should be used?
