The sticky said not to ask for haircut advice, but here's a hair thread, so I'll go for it.

Wat do? My whole life I've either got a buzz cut or asked for a trim, nothing else. But I want to look better so I'm employable and don't look like pleb scum.

What hair styles would you suggest for guys with thick, curly hair (ie me)? Are there any resources that would help out with that decision?
How do you take care of your hair?
What products do most of you use? (ie mousse, pomade, etc)
Do you use those products every day?
How did you learn to use/apply these products, or are they pretty simple to apply?
