Stop pretending like "the rich KNOW the smart way to buy a watch" because there is no smart why to buy a watch. If you're dropping more than $20 on a watch, you don't care about value—you care about something else (i.e., brand, heritage, status, etc.). That's fine. If you care about a brand that's great. But at least be honest with yourself. Stop feeding yourself the bullshit lie that "hurr well muh VALUE!!"

It's always "Patek" and "AP Royal Oak" on Instagram. AP literally makes more Royal Oaks per year than Vacheron Constantin's entire production output of all their watches.
