My hair is very long and on the thicker side. I wash it every other day-every 3 days with just a shampoo bar from Lush (it lasts longer). Brush/comb it when wet. I shower at night and since I don’t want hair in my face while sleeping I will put it in 1 or 2 braids at night and sleep like that. I won’t brush it until I’m about to wash it again (sometimes this is bad). The braids make it very wavy, if I wash it and let it air dry then it will have a slight wave to it.

I do not blow dry it or use heat on it, maybe twice in the last 6months. I trim it myself since it’s long and I probably save a lot of money that way.
