Anyone here knowledgeable about combat boots used in the US army? What would be the combat boots version of a M-65 field jacket? Something that's the most generic/iconic version, preferably in black/leather. Maybe something worn in an iconic era like WWII or the Vietnam War. I tried googling it and I could only find the phrase Intermediate Cold/Wet Boot, pic related seems like a pretty popular style.

Don't worry I don't plan on larping or going full blown stolen valor retard or anything. I just need to know more about these boots for research purposes.
