Then I went to Galilu, a local niche perfumery that I learned about some time ago because of their excellent sampling program. I went there because that's the only place where I can find the jasmine toothpaste I used to use but stayed for longer and tested quite a few niche frags.

Cozy sweet-spicy tobacco (despite the fact that the tobacco note is not listed). If someone is looking for a unisex honeyed tobacco that's a good call. It has a vibe very similar to Tom Ford's Tobacco Vanilla but it's not as loud.

Shave creamy woody scent (cedar+vetiver+patchouli) with a fresh facet of black pepper.

Very floral tea scent. Reminds me of some women's hygiene or products.

Then we started talking about tea scents and she showed me some including this one. Berlin is a very snice, fresh citric tea scent of the kind I was looking a lot for. It's surprisingly hard to find good tea scents that wouldn't be X-massy or having a lot of other things going.

Another niche tea fragrance. Very polite tea scent with a sea-green feel to it. Elegant and sophisticated. I might cop a bottle of it or Berlin for the next S/S season.

Very, very juicy fruity and loud. Reminds me for that reason Byredo's Pulp albeit the dominating note here is mango. The difference is that there's some quite prominent floral undertone making it quite clearly feminine.

Been reading about it for ages but typically nothing but Casbah or Oud was available for testing locally and I didn't feel like ordering a sample of a women's chypre from 1944. It's beautiful though and could be easily released as an exclusive contemporary niche hidden gem. It's a huge and loud aldehydic chypre that is blended very, very smoothly.
