I think you're referring to the Amida Digitrend, it's from the 70's

Good morning, my friends. How have you been? It's incredibly cold in here for this time of the year. WTF happened to spring?

Mechanical watches with digital displays are so akin to gorgeous 70's futurism architecture that I'm always impressed and in awe when I check the time through the prism of my digitrend. It's like seeing an experimental building design.

The way prices now behave in the secondary market has become utterly ridiculous imo. 9 of 10 times I come to the realization that "X" reference it's not worthy to buy anymore because it price hiked 20-30% up in a matter of months. It's a shame.

Thank you for remembering, my friend. It's not really a flap display. I don't know any watch that does that, but it would be very interesting.

That's called a driver's watch. If you are looking for mechanical, there aren't that many options. To my knowledge, there are only three I can think of:
1. Amida Digitrend, like mine. (Picrel) Affordable and cool, but only if you find one with a 17 jewels movement. Otherwise it will die when less expected and won't be fixable, basically a death watch.
2. Romain Jerome Spacecraft which only portraits the hour at the side and the minutes on top (not very practical, I don't like it) and expensive, and
3. MB&F Horological Machine No. 5 Extremely expensive as you might have already discovered.

Getting a good job is important, but even more important is to have no other hobbies and have no friends or family.
Family is especially expensive.

Me? I don't go anywhere on vacation. I pretty much just work and post here.

Stop fucking impersonating me, faggot! I posted that pic two weeks ago.

In the simplest terms that you can understand, the second amendment does not apply to an individual's right to own a military style firearm since muskets of the day were no different than hunting rifles, no one would have thought that it was a right that needed to be spelled out. (It's the same reason we don't specifically have the right to wear shoes in the Constitution.)
The second amendment gives states the right to form fully-functional militias to maintain peace and security instead of relying on the federal government for that.

This was the prevailing opinion until the "conservative" activists on the Supreme Court decided that "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State" was irrelevant to the text in D.C. v. Heller in 2008.

>>17047752
Ask a watchmaker to make you a brandless watch for you. There are some very interesting options above the 30k niche.

>>17047789
Nice.
