Honestly, that's a problem in general. Most watchmakers just cruise on the same few established designs and follow the general aesthetic trends set by the swiss. Only a few really try and keep some sort of local identity.
It's the case in Japan, sometimes, when the decide to embrace the "new industrial design" language developed there in the 80s.
It works in Germany with endless lip service to the original Bauhaus schools.
And funnily enough, it's also the case with the indian design ethos of pragmatic no-nonsense utilitarian products. If it ain't broke, don't fix it and build the same car for 60 years because it still works, build the same movement you got a licence for because it still works.
Other than that, some individual smaller brands do their best but that's about it.

The chrysanthemum and peacock designs are based on classic embroidery when it comes to their shape and the texture they try to replicate, but they aren't embroidery.
