Yeah, communists should just conjure up a mass movement to have everyone live in communes. Never mind that the capitalist class has an interest in maintaining a large consumer base and a surfeit of workers, and would prevent such a political movement from taking root if they had the opportunity. It's not like they have any influence in society.

And ignore the fact virtually every commune produces goods for exchange and profit in order to support themselves. They're completely separate and independent from decadent capitalism!
