For example, many newbies consider Common Projects a "grail" shoe because of their versatility, and they often end up paying $100 for sub-par alternatives while continuing to wear expensive Nike or Adidas sneakers. If you do a little research, you'd actually find that a pair of nearly new Common Projects would sell for about the same price as Nike Flyknits.

Sure, it might be a little tough to stray out of your comfort zone if you've worn Nike or Adidas your whole life, but I guarantee you it's worth it.
