I'd just like to interject for a moment, what I'm referring to as zee-pupchucks are, in fact, zippers/chucks, or as I've recently taken to calling them, zip + chucks. Zippers are not a shoe style unto themselves, but rather another utilitarian component of a fully functioning shoe made useful by a variety of different pieces and materials comprising a full shoe as defined by colloquialism.

Many people wear a modified version of the Zip shoe every day, without realizing it. Through a peculiar turn of events, the version of Zippers which is widely used today is often called "Chucks", and many of its coppers are not aware that it is basically the Zipper system developed by the Zipper project.

There really are Chucks, and these people are wearing it, but it is just a part of the fit they've got on. Zippers are the kernel: the piece of the pie that dictates how they're put on so as to make use of the other resources that have gone into the construction of the shoe. The zipper is an essential part of the "shoe", but pointless by itself. It can only function in the context of a complete shoe. /Zip pupchuck is normally used in combination with the shoe. The whole shoe is basically zipper with chucks added, or Zeepupchuck also the so called "chuck" variations are really distributions of Zipup chucks.
