Here's what happened. Companies wanted to sell more suits, but noticed that most people doesnt want to buy cheap suits (ie, H&M suits, etc) but instead wants to look like theyre successful.

Of course, these people wear expensive suits. The problem for companies such as Prada or Burberry is, these suits are expensive for a reason. Making a legit full-canvas suit in good fabric is time-consuming and requires a master tailor meaning low volumes and high prices.

So what they did instead was make suits similarly to cheaper suits (fused canvas, etc) but use somewhat more (though usually not alot) premium fabric and put the rest of the money into advertisement. These are commersially the most successful bracket of suits, represent the absolute bottom in terms of value per dollar and have huge profit margins.

Honestly, they really don't. Very standard shoulders, those will restrict your arm movement a lot (raise your arms and it will look bad) and the lapels dont really look that great either, especially with that breast pocket.

Box shoulders means (to my ears, anyway) that the shoulders of your suit jacket are overbuilt with wadding.

I have a very OTR body, so they tend to fit me very well, but the difference is still miles apart.
