I had to remove haircuts from my budget last October, which worked out fine because it got cold enough to just slap a beanie and be done. But now that spring is here (more like summer in humid DC), I need to figure out what to do with my hair.

I know it's covered in split ends and needs to be fixed but should I keep growing it out, keep it at that length and style it, or just cut it short? It gets hella curly and voluminous once it hits shoulder length, but I don't know how long I can stand being stuck in that awkward growth phase.
