Wearing trousers that are too tapered with these shoes ruins the silhouette, as AF1's are characteristically chunky and oversized. If I wear something that hugs my calf in combination with that it brings out how slim my legs are in a bad way. I was actually hoping the loose drape of the drop crotch trousers would have synergy with the clunky high tops but I can see it from your point of view as well. I was actually trying to achieve a look similar to pic related, except ricks are even less tapered than mine are.
