So I'm listening to an audiobook on ancient Rome and wanted to get a t-shirt cause Caesar is hype.

Googled SPQR t shirt and this was the first one that popped up. Design looked cool so I decided to cop it.

Now, I understand designers take artistic liberties to make their designs look aesthetically pleasing and unique so I didn't mind it being a tad historically inaccurate.

HOWEVER. The eagle looks eerily similar to the Nazi eagle. Did the Romans ever have a standard similar to this eagle so I can rationalize wearing this in public?

Or am I going to get bike-locked by ANTIFA? Will normies even know the difference?
