A bit of advice to anyone looking for nice lower-cost kicks for this look - the safest bet right now seems to be boot/sneaker hybrids. Get on Ebay and look up older Nike ACG boots, mids and highs. They're relatively inexpensive, a lot of them are pretty dope and I can guarantee that most folks have never even heard of them, let alone owned a pair. Some of them are 90's as all get out.

I think meta runs one, I don't remember the name. For the most part we're all just working this out as we go along. At the risk of sounding corny, use your heart and feel your way through it. As long as you stick to certain themes and color schemes you should come out alright. There's a lot of stuff out there that can support the look.
