This is my first reply to you, it's other anons, I've had a lot of watches 40+ and I know what I like now oh and the 231 is the best GS they make. The 231 and orion are not even that popular. You relate simple classic designs with soulless......

I honestly think my collection is personal to me, you don't know my history or thought / buying process, I wanted a speedy for the history, before I was into watches I had my eye on it, stroke a cord with me as I'm a huge sicfi / nasal fan. My Dad had pre moon speedy before I was born, which he flooded diving!!! Boomers! and I only found out after I was set on getting one, the orion was the first nice watch I wanted to buy myself but didn't have the money so I bought a CW C5 Malvern MkII in Uni for £370 and now the Orion is a very satisfying watch for me to own now, I never liked any GS watches but I feel in love with the 231 instantly, I have had a few vintage omegas but they are a headaches, I like the PP calatrava but the design isn't perfect (dates or somethings off), the GS is 2 birds with 1 stone and better than both aesthetically in my options. Seamaster I upgraded from the older blue ref which was a mistake maybe but it was a £500 different as my old 300m needed a service still working on that one and how I feel about it 75% love it.

I just think you always go to no soul comment by default, I think it was you to when I posted my Sekio turtle in my collection years ago and I bought that I Japan in a wee cosy family used watch shop. I'd have more respect for you if you posted your collection with your post.
