Dior Hedi era was so much better, the SL stuff just doesn't cut it. The design used to feel current or at least futuristic with a sleek tailored edge now he's really just appropriated his idea of grunge and rocker chic with retarded price tags. Like $800 for a flannel shirt? $68,000 for the Baby Doll Dress? There nice things in his collection though especially the leather pieces, in fact the nice pieces are basically the carry overs from Dior or just staples you can't get wrong anyway but the new collections and feel as a whole are a failure so to speak. I don't think the idea of the skinny silhouette is going to leave as anytime soon but looking the aesthetic ignoring the silhouette is out.

Many drape heavy designers incorporate slim fitting jeans or trousers into their designs. You could argue that the men's black tight style is close to skinny jeans. I don't see them as a thing that will go out of fashion anytime soon.
Hedi wasn't always about skinny jeans, here is a fit from the 2008 collection when he was still good before he done goofed at Saint Laurent.
