If Rolex manages to make a ROLEX ROLEX ROLEX dial pattern that actually looks good, then that would be good too.

Besides, the dial pattern mostly looks abstract unless you look really closely to appreciate the return of the Daini lightning bolt.

Grand Seiko is one of the relatively few mass production watchmakers with a clearly defined 'house style' that applies to the vast majority of their watches. Other than Rolex, most other mass market watchmakers have product catalogues with a complete mish mash of aesthetics.

The most egregious example is probably Omega, who has a product catalog full of wildy different lines with almost no commonality whatsoever.
